Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor with Strong Administrative Skills

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor with strong administrative capabilities to support our project teams. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to learn, develop technically, and grow into a more senior role over time.

The successful candidate will assist with general project administration, cost management, documentation and reporting while gaining hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong Admin Support to Management
  • Assist with tracking project costs, variations, and expenditure
  • Help prepare payment certificates, progress claims, and cost reports
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs
  • Maintain organised project files, contracts, and cost documentation
  • Capture data accurately and update spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Assist with procurement administration (RFQs, supplier comparisons, records)
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and basic commercial summaries
  • Coordinate documentation between site teams, suppliers, and management
  • Work closely with senior team members
  • Take ownership of tasks with increasing responsibility as skills grow

Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary Education
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive attitude
