About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at our 4-star resort in Drakensberg. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, building, airconditioning, solar, Jacuzzi’s/pools, roads, refrigerators, gas, and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on all facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and building work
- Maintain and repair game farm/reserve equipment and vehicles
- Oversee the maintenance of pools, Jacuzzi’s, and other recreational facilities
- Manage and maintain roads, refrigerators, and gas systems
- Utilize power tools and perform general maintenance tasks as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Hospitality Maintenance – Lodges, Reserves, Hotels or Camps (essential)
- Game Farm /Reserve experience preferred
- Trade Qualification Non-Negotiable
- Excellent all-rounder (Electrical, Plumbing, Building, Airconditioning, Solar, Jacuzzi’s/ Pools, Roads, Refrigerators, Gas and Power Tools)
Salary & Benefits
R 25-30 000 Gross pm
