About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SPA Reservationist & Back-up SPA Therapist to join our team at MF Spa & Beauty Placements in Tokai, Cape Town. As a dual role, you will be responsible for reception duties as well as performing spa therapies. If you have excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make bookings and respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Perform spa therapies as a back-up therapist
  • Manage guest communication across multiple channels
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and scheduling adjustments
  • Handle guest requests and challenges with calmness and professionalism
  • Upsell spa services and retail add-ons

Requirements

  • South African citizen or permitted for employment
  • Certified/Diploma in Beauty Specialist/Health & Skin Care/Beauty Therapy/Somatology/Cosmetology
  • SAAHSP/ITEC/CIDESCO/CIBTAC accredited qualification
  • Reliable transport within the Southern Suburbs
  • Computer confident with MS Office and SPA Software systems (ESP/Headstart/SilverSpa or similar)
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Excellent command of English

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certification in Beauty Specialist, Health & Skin Care, Beauty Therapy, Somatology, Cosmetology, SAAHSP, ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: R11,000 per month
  • Services Commission on any therapies performed by you
  • Retail Commission
  • Employee Benefits & Fund Contributions
