About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stewarding & Hygiene Manager to join our 5-star resort team in South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing stewarding operations, implementing and monitoring hygiene and sanitation standards, and managing cleaning schedules and inventories.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stewarding operations, dishwashing, and cleaning routines.
- Implement and monitor hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Manage cleaning schedules, inventories, and chemical usage.
- Conduct regular hygiene audits and staff training.
- Ensure efficient waste management and segregation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (hotel, resort, or high-volume kitchen).
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Experience managing stewarding and cleaning teams.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Good English communication skills.
