About the Role
Our client in the technology industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temp Receptionist to join their team. As a key point of entry to the organization, you will be the face of the company, responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone calls, and maintaining a tidy reception area. With your excellent administrative skills and experience in secretarial or reception work, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives, welcomes, books and refers visitors to the relevant individual or department.
- Accepts delivery of small parcels and advises addressee.
- Maintains reception area in a tidy condition.
- Connects callers who may be uncertain of their require contact to the most appropriate department/contact.
- Takes and passes on messages. Determines when an issue is urgent and expedites a response.
- May administer routine parking and taxi arrangements, and issues and collects security badges for visitors.
- Performs basic clerical tasks and/or undertakes simple copy typing as time permits.
- Orders and distributes stationary to staff.
- Sorts in order paper work and distributes to the correct people.
- Facs, types, scan and do filling.
- Posts letters and documents within South Africa.
- Couriers documents and sample products out of South Africa.
Requirements
- Matric
- 1 year’s working experience in secretarial or reception work
- Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Salary & Benefits
R8 000 per month
