About the Role

As a Warranty Parts & Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership’s warranty administration processes. You will be responsible for administering and processing warranty claims accurately and within manufacturer guidelines, while also managing warranty parts retention, storage, and disposal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and process warranty claims accurately and within manufacturer guidelines.
  • Verify warranty submissions and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and reconcile warranty accounts and transactions.
  • Manage warranty parts retention, storage, and disposal processes in line with manufacturer requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve warranty claim discrepancies and rejections.
  • Prepare warranty reports and financial reconciliations.
  • Liaise with service, parts, and finance departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular warranty audits and maintain compliance standards.
  • Ensure all warranty claims are submitted within prescribed deadlines.
  • Support month-end financial processes relating to warranty transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Requirements

  • National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Warranty Administration Certificate (Essential).
  • Previous dealership experience within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in warranty administration and control.
  • Strong understanding of warranty processes, parts administration, and financial reconciliation.
  • Experience working with dealership management systems.
