Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Junior Billing Officer is responsible for assisting with the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of customer invoices to ensure accurate and timely billing. This role supports the finance team with billing-related queries, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies with internal teams or clients.
- Maintain up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Assist with billing reports, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Support the finance team with administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 (Diploma in Finance or Accounting advantageous).
- 12 years experience in billing, invoicing, or general finance administration advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills.
- Experience with any accounting software advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
