Stellenbosch: Construction Project Manager posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our client’s team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects within budget and on schedule. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. NOTE: Must have several years experience in the Built Environment

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including procurement of materials, hiring of subcontractors, and scheduling of tasks
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in the built environment
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Proficiency in project management software
• Professional CPM with SACPCMP – non negotiable
• at least 3-5 years post registration experience .
• Proven track record as a Principal Agent on JBCC contracts for several years.
• Knowledge of JBCC contracts(mandatory), NEC/FIDC/BIM- Bonus
