About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Assistant/Administrator to join our team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the financial department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, and maintaining strict adherence to internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process producer pricing and manage weekly payment cycles
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile producer transactions and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and audit-ready
- Compile and distribute remittances
- Support monthly reporting and ensure adherence to internal financial controls and approval processes
Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
- 35 years experience in a financial administration role, preferably within the export or agricultural sector
- Proven experience in processing producer pricing, managing weekly payment cycles, and verifying invoices against purchase orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication skills

- Formal education/certifications (Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping)
