About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Field Service Coordinator to support our busy Field Service Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, and can confidently manage administrative, financial, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining debtors within contractual payment terms and follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle customer queries, including payment and service-related queries
- Prepare and process quotations, production orders, and invoices
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and invoices
- Receive customer calls, log service requests, and open job cards
- Coordinate and maintain technician schedules and site rosters
- Compile technician activity reports
- Arrange travel and accommodation for Field Service staff
- Process and capture service reports and documentation
- Maintain accurate filing systems and history records
- Update Life Cycle Cost (LCC) reports and safety files
- Liaise with Procurement for spare parts
- Assist with stock takes and variance reporting
- Process timesheets and payroll-related data
- Maintain administrative records (fuel logs, contractor packs, etc.)
- Support ISO 9001:2015 compliance and documentation standards
- Provide general administrative and switchboard support when required
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 2 years experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Experience in a technical/service environment (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
