Job Summary
Stellenbosch – Western Cape
- IT hardware; includes procurement, setup, maintenance and replacement processes.
- Networking and cabling – Ensure consistent high standards throughout the group.
- Connectivity; Data, Voice, Telephony – Monitoring, troubleshooting and management.
- Monitoring and management of Desktop Security (including antivirus and Patch Management).
- Give input into user security awareness training.
- Desktop Support Services.
- Be the contact for escalations for in-country IT teams.
- Ensure positive supplier relationships and management together with in-country IT teams.
- Google Workspace administration and adoption.
- Others: Firewalls, VPN, Queueing systems, CCTV.
- A relevant Degree or Diploma.
- 3+ Years of relevant work experience in an IT Support environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using logical pragmatic reasoning.
- Attention to detail
- A concern for order, quality and accuracy.
- A meticulous approach to work.
- Fast and self-learning abilities.
- Result orientation and eager to work hard and smart.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to travel
- Passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context.
