About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Machinist to join our team in Uitenhage. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality manufacture of engine components.
Key Responsibilities
- Crankshaft Machining
- Engine Block Machining
- Cylinder Head Machining
- General Machining & Measurement
- Document all measurements, repairs, and machining steps
- Quality & Safety
- Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety standards for machining equipment
- Perform final QC checks before releasing components to assembly or customers
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive machinist or engine rebuilder
- Skilled in crankshaft grinding, cylinder boring/honing, and cylinder head rebuilding
- Competency with manual Machining Trade certification in machining
