About the Role
Network Contracting is seeking an entry-level Forklift Technician (Field Service) to join our team in Gauteng. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance on forklifts, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, and providing technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on forklifts
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform breakdown repairs on-site and in the workshop
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Complete job cards, service reports, and documentation accurately
- Provide technical support and feedback to clients
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements
- Trade Tested Artisan (one of the following): Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Millwright, Auto Electrician
- Valid Code B driver’s license (essential)
- Must be South African
- Own reliable transport (essential)
- Must reside in the East Rand
- Willing and able to travel extensively to client sites in Gauteng and surrounding areas
