About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Finance industry is urgently seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead HR initiatives and align people strategies with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HR functions for organizations with 400+ employees, reporting directly to EXCO or board-level executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically lead HR, aligning people initiatives with business goals.
- Advise EXCO on workforce planning and organizational structures.
- Oversee all talent management, from recruitment to retention and development.
- Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary processes, ensuring legal compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, compensation, and engagement strategies.
- Drive transformation, inclusion, and succession planning.
- Supervise HR operations across sites, maintaining compliance.
- Manage the performance appraisal system.
- Maintain compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fair incentives.
- Assess and monitor training programs.
- Report HR metrics and provide data-driven decision support.
- Approve and manage payroll data.
- Lead various HR projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Proven experience reporting directly to EXCO or board-level executives.
- Exceptional knowledge of South African labour law, HR compliance, and strategic HR planning.
- Demonstrable experience managing HR functions for organizations with 400+ employees.
- Strong leadership skills, including managing and developing HR teams.
- Ability to architect HR strategy and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Proficiency in employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
