About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our client, an international chemical manufacturing company, in Vanderbijlpark. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting and selling our products, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends in the chemical industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, offering expertise on product selection, application, and usage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technical sales
- Chemical sales knowledge will be beneficial, preferably in the Vanderbijlpark area
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients.
- Ability to identify and analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple client accounts.
