About the Role

Faircape Life is seeking a professional Driver to join our team based at our retirement village in Tokai. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents and staff across the Southern Suburbs, ensuring exceptional service and care to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport residents to and from appointments, shopping centres, outings, and other destinations as required
  • Transport staff between Faircape facilities and operational sites when needed
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle where necessary, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism while adhering to scheduled transport requirements
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding schedules, delays, or operational concerns

Requirements

Valid South African Code 10 Drivers License with a clean driving record

Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) essential

Experience in a driving role

Experience transporting passengers in a professional environment

Experience working with elderly individuals or within healthcare/hospitality environments (advantageous)

Salary & Benefits

Above-market, experience-based salary. The amount offered will be dependent on qualifications, experience, and other market-related factors.

Working Hours

This position operates on a shift basis, which is 16.25 shifts per month and includes weekends and public holidays, with working hours from 06h15 to 18h15.
