About the Role
Time Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join their team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on finance experience and be comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced operational businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Director, Procurement Team and Outsourced Accounting Firm
- Bookkeeping Support: Capture day-to-day financial transactions into the accounting system
- Reconciliation Discipline: Assist with bank, AR, AP reconciliations
- Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records
- Supporting Documentation: Ensure supporting documentation is correctly filed and easily retrievable
- Payments & Banking: Assist with the preparation and loading of payments on the company’s banking platform
- Cash Flow Tracking: Maintain payment schedules and assist with cash flow tracking
- Discrepancy Flagging: Flag any discrepancies or missing documentation
- Invoices & Accounts Administration: Receive, sort, allocate and file supplier invoices and credit notes
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Administration: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable administration
- Follow-up on Outstanding Invoices: Follow up on outstanding invoices or documentation as instructed
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team and management
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ hands-on finance experience
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced operational businesses
Experience owning the full bookkeeping function (not just transactional capture)
Strong reconciliation discipline (bank, AR, AP)
