Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all finance activities, including accounting, reporting, budgeting and planning
• Partner with regional and global leaders to support long-term growth and strategy. Translate the global financial strategy into effective local execution
• Deliver insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Ensure IFRS-compliant financial reporting aligned to Group policies
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk frameworks
• Manage external audits and auditor relationships
• Ensure compliance across South Africa, Australia, Singapore and the USA
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, GST, corporate tax and transfer pricing
• Manage deferred revenue accounting and complex revenue recognition
• Act as trusted finance partner to leadership on pricing, modelling and investments
• Support M&A, integrations and restructuring initiatives
• Drive process improvement, automation and standardisation
• Support global finance transformation initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) / AGA(SA) / CIMA / ACCA qualified
• 10+ years progressive financial management experience
• Proven experience in multinational environments (essential)
• Strong knowledge of deferred revenue accounting
• Solid understanding of foreign tax laws and compliance
• Board-level exposure with the ability to influence strategic decisions
• Advanced MS Excel
• Strong ERP systems knowledge (Navision, SAP or similar)
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
