About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians in a workshop setting
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, including diesel engines and machinery
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within specified timelines
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Agricultural | FMCG Industry in a Managerial capacity
- Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic certification
- Proficient in MS Office essential
- Strong Leadership and Team Management skills
- Good Communication skills verbal and written
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 10 or 14) and own Transport required
