About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our boutique hotel in White River, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both local and international guests while maximising occupancy, revenue, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational management of the hotel
- Driving occupancy, revenue, and yield strategies
- Managing budgets, costs, and financial performance (P&L)
- Overseeing reservations, sales, and agent relationships
- Maintaining exceptional guest service standards
- Leading, motivating, and developing the team
- Managing food & beverage performance, including menu costing
- Overseeing maintenance, property upkeep, and projects
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and operational standards
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal hospitality qualification
- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality leadership role
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Excellent leadership and staff management skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-driven
- Strong understanding of revenue management and reservations systems
- Passion for service excellence and guest experience
