Join the diginu Merchant Marketing Team (Remote | Part-Time) About diginu diginu is a South African technology company focused on helping consumers save money through cash back rewards on everyday spending, including fuel, groceries, restaurants, takeaways, and e-hailing services. As we continue expanding nationally, we are looking for motivated individuals to assist with merchant acquisition and business development. Role Overview We are seeking Sales Associates to support the expansion of the diginu platform across South Africa. This role focuses on identifying and engaging new business sectors, client aquisition and merchant categories for expansion onto the diginu platform. Responsibilities include introducing merchants to the platform, explaining the available marketing and customer engagement benefits, and assisting businesses through the onboarding process. This is an independent contractor opportunity with flexible working hours. Compensation is performance-based and linked to merchant activity and turnover generated through the platform. Key Responsibilities • Identify and approach potential merchants and business owners • Introduce merchants to the diginu platform and its benefits • Assist merchants with onboarding and activation • Build and maintain professional business relationships • Identify opportunities for expansion into new industries and market segments • Participate in ongoing product and marketing training Requirements • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Basic computer literacy • Previous sales, marketing, or business development experience is advantageous • Interest in technology, e-commerce, or digital platforms is beneficial • Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa What We Offer • Flexible remote and field-based work • Performance-based earning potential linked to merchant activity • Ongoing training and support • Opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling South African technology company
