About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our R63 “One Stop” Co-op store in Williston. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store’s operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with our suppliers to negotiate prices and manage inventory, while also handling personnel matters, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all store functions, including sales, stock control, and customer service
- Supervise and train 11 employees to achieve optimal performance and high standards of customer service
- Monitor and control store finances, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost management
- Maintain the highest standards of store appearance, including cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Handle complaints and issues from customers in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
- Matriek/National Senior Certificate required
- 1–2 years of experience in retail or business management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic accounting skills, including Excel proficiency
