If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are seeking a highly skilled and operationally focused Financial Manager to join our client, a reputable company within the services industry. This well-known organization is part of a prestigious listed group, offering significant growth and development opportunities within a stable and thriving corporate environment. Duties: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, while monitoring and reporting on performance against these targets. Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams, helping to drive cost management, profitability, and efficiency improvements. Strengthen internal controls, identify process improvements, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks. Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for business operations. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Accounting degree (essential) Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an operationally focused financial management role within a corporate environment. A large, well-established wholesale company with a national footprint is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead its finance team. With over 40 years of success in the industry, this business offers a stable and dynamic environment for a finance professional ready to take on a strategic leadership role. Duties: Manage full financial function including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls Lead the finance team and drive continuous improvement in processes Provide strategic input to support business decisions and growth initiatives Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation and cost control Education and Experience: CA(SA) At least 5 years experience in a similar role System implementation experience is essential

Job Summary

About the Role: A dynamic and growth-focused organization is seeking a skilled and strategic Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an opportunity to be a key player in driving financial efficiency and supporting business decision-making at an executive level. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk assessment. Implement financial controls and ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance requirements. Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Develop financial models and reports to aid in business strategy and growth initiatives. Oversee payroll, tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax), and liaise with SARS as needed. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial efficiency and cost management. Minimum Requirements: BCom Finance Honours Degree or similar finance degree (Essential). Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Preferred). Minimum of 5-8 years experience in financial management, with a proven track record of strategic financial oversight. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate governance. Experience using Sage software (Preferred but not essential). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Preferences: Candidates who are available to start immediately will be given preference, but this is not a deal-breaker.
