Location: Northern Cape

Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our mining operations in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment in a mining environment.

Responsibilities:

– Conducting routine maintenance on mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps
– Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on machinery
– Performing repairs and replacements on faulty parts
– Conducting inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
– Collaborating with other team members to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner

Requirements:

– Trade certificate as a Fitter or relevant certification
– Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Fitter in the mining industry
– Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
