A dynamic opportunity exists for an experienced Workshop / Field Service Technicians to join a leading player in the FMCG and food service machinery industry.

This role involves on-site client servicing and repairs of large-scale equipment across Gauteng.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright (Trade Tested), with a strong electrical background.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar technical or field-based role.

• Previous experience in the FMCG or food service industry is essential.

• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.

• Must be computer literate with good communication and technical reporting skills.

• Afrikaans proficiency is beneficial, due to the nature of the client base.

• Must be available for on-call duty every alternate week, including weekends (operational hours: 07:30 17:30).

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to client sites to troubleshoot, repair, and service large and complex machinery.

• Conduct routine maintenance either on-site or in the workshop.

• Perform equipment installations, commissioning, and client training.

• Use and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and electrical/mechanical schematics.

• Run diagnostic tests and recommend corrective actions.

• Provide technical support and urgent response to breakdowns as per client schedule.

• Draft and submit detailed service reports.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence in all interactions.

• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, both in-house and on client premises.

• Maintain stock and ensure spare parts are arranged for job completion.

• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Manage and prioritise multiple job cards, meeting strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
