About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Route Management in Johannesburg. With a strong background in operating heavy equipment such as graders and bull dozers, you will play a critical role in ensuring our construction projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate graders and bull dozers. Must be able to cut final levels.
- Start and maintain the engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn the steering wheel to operate the loader efficiently.
- Lower and tilt the bucket to fill it with bulk material, then raise and tilt it when filled to dump the material into the desired location.
- Perform routine maintenance on the loader, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance
- Able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid driver’s license is also required for this position.

- No formal education or certifications are required for this role, as prior experience and training will be assessed during the application process.
