About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Financial Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and effective day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- GL processing through to trial balance
- Oversight and involvement in debtors and creditors processing and management
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Supporting the Financial Manager with audits and year-end processes
Requirements
- Completed BCom Degree (Accounting or similar)
- SAICA or SAIPA articles completed
- Up to 4 years relevant experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
- Solid experience with GL processing to trial balance
- Proven exposure to debtors and creditors management
Qualifications
- Completed BCom Degree (Accounting or similar)
