About the Role
The Elandsfontein: Supply Chain Shift Supervisor is a critical role responsible for managing and overseeing all supply chain operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure warehouse, transport, and inventory activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
- Allocate manpower and equipment to meet operational targets
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and health and safety standards
- Verify and capture stock received on SAP
- Manage daily dispatch schedules, ensuring all trucks leave on time
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate key operational updates
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy and minimize variances
- Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with monthly stock takes
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective measures
- Identify and escalate slow-moving or obsolete stock
- Drive efficiency, process improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
- Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for optimization
Requirements
- Matric Certificate Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing & Supply Chain Management (minimum NQF 5; NQF 6)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Warehousing & Supply Chain operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Working knowledge of SAP, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing & Supply Chain Management (minimum NQF 5; NQF 6) – completed
