About the Role
BKB Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Commission Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing livestock, building strong relationships with clients, and procuring auctions through effective and innovative services. With a focus on ensuring a positive image of the organization through professional, effective, and innovative services, we are looking for someone who can drive growth in market share, revenue, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of livestock for auctions
- Marketing of livestock
- Procurement, marketing, and handling of auctions
- Classing of livestock
- Responsible for effective and efficient logistics and administrative processes
- Gathering of producer information to facilitate effective planning of marketing
- Providing excellent customer services
Requirements
- Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- Goal-oriented Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Time management skills
- Good computer literacy
- Decision-making skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans, English, and Zulu would be advantageous (valid drivers license is also required)
Qualifications
- Grade 12 with at least 3 years experience in Livestock marketing environment or relevant Diploma/Degree
