About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Travel Desk Agent to join our vibrant hotel environment, where you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend tailored experiences
Book and coordinate tours, excursions, restaurants, and activities
Arrange airport transfers, shuttle services and private transport
Ensure all guest experiences are seamless, well-communicated and professionally executed
Handle travel-related enquiries, bookings and confirmations efficiently
Build and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers and service providers
Maintain accurate records of all bookings and transactions
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge and other departments
Stay up to date with local events, experiences and new offerings

Requirements

Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a Travel Desk, Concierge or similar role within a hotel environment
Strong knowledge of Cape Town, surrounding areas and tourist attractions
Experience coordinating transfers, tours, excursions and guest logistics
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and hotel systems (OPERA experience advantageous)
Well-presented with a professional and polished approach
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous)

Qualifications

South African ID or valid work permit
