About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pool Attendant to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Sandton. As a key member of our pool operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and cleanliness while providing exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pool area to maintain a high standard of service and cleanliness.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the pool team, including lifeguards, waiters, and barmen, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the day.
- Greet and assist members and guests, providing attentive and friendly service.
- Ensure guests are comfortably settled and have access to food and beverage service.
- Monitor pool safety, cleanliness, and setup of loungers, umbrellas, and towels.
- Uphold club service standards and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Manage stock levels for towels, cleaning supplies, and poolside refreshments.
Requirements
- Matric/Diploma or qualification in hospitality or a related field.
- Ability to Swim
- Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a Country Club, Resort, or Hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Well-groomed, professional, and reliable.
- Driver’s license with own transport.
- Guest-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
