About the Role
Join Datafin, a dynamic and fast-paced company managing a diversified portfolio of investments, including Agriculture (dairy farms) and international ventures. We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations, providing strategic guidance to ensure financial sustainability and alignment with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations within the division, providing strategic guidance to ensure financial sustainability and alignment with overall business goals.
- Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of IAS, BAS reports, and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Lead the process of importing and managing budgets, revised forecasts, and long-term financial plans into Xero, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accurate financial modeling.
- Lead the preparation, review, and finalization of the Annual Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee tax computations, tax return preparations, and ensure adherence to both local and international tax regulations, while managing and monitoring all tax-related matters for the business.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field.
- CA (SA) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Extensive experience in overseeing financial operations in a diverse portfolio, including Agricultural investments and international ventures.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
