About the Role
A leading company within the HVAC and ventilation sector is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Management & New Sales professional to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategies and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales of HVAC solutions to new and existing customers, including end-users, property developers, architects, engineers, project managers for commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Complete and submit tenders for HVAC solutions within stipulated budgets and deadlines.
- Oversee project management tasks, ensuring high-quality installations while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Plan and manage sub-contractor work, maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety practices, updating site safety files as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with procurement and stores departments to ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Authorize and sign off project-related expenditure, including supplier quotes and stock supplies.
- Update and maintain leads software, ensuring accurate record keeping of sales leads.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience within the HVAC industry.
- Proven track record of project management.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong administrative and planning abilities.
- Performance-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- Matric qualification.
Salary & Benefits
R30 000 + Commission (structure to be discussed with candidate), plus R3500 car allowance and R3500 fuel allowance.
