About the Role
We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our team in East London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and support to clients across various industries. With a strong background in tax calculations and compliance, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients’ financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit SARS correspondence on behalf of clients
- Perform complex tax calculations for companies and individuals
- File IT Returns and IRP6 Returns accurately and efficiently
- Manage EMP501 submissions using e@syfile
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom) or related field (even if it’s your first year)
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Honours degree in Taxation would be advantageous but not required
