About the Role
A skilled manufacturing and fabrication company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in truck and trailer workshops, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabrication and assembly of metal components
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Performing quality control checks
• Preparing materials for fabrication and assembly
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles
• Collaborating with team members on projects
• Assisting with basic maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers under supervision
Requirements
• Trade Certificate (Boilermaker / Welder)
• Required Experience working in a workshop environment
• Knowledge of welding equipment and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
