About the Role
A well-established non-profit organisation is seeking a Finance & Grants Officer to join its finance team. This is a trusted, hands-on role supporting the financial administration and grant management that keeps the organisation’s work moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions and payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial ledgers
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
- Support grant and donor reporting with reliable financial data
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Assist with procurement processes and payment requests
- Maintain supplier and service provider information
- Provide finance support to internal teams as needed
Requirements
- Highly organised and detail-driven
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines
- Confident working independently and with different teams
- Calm, practical, and solutions-focused
- Experience & background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar; SAICA or SAIPA articles preferred (qualified by experience considered); minimum of 3 years’ finance experience
