About the Role
Join our team at 10 2nd Avenue Houghton Estate as a Kitchen Attendant, contributing to the delivery of dynamic and exceptional hospitality solutions in Africa. Key Responsibilities
- Clean all kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, and appliances to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Sanitize kitchen areas to prevent the spread of germs and ensure food safety.
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintaining operating equipment.
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize and store operating equipment properly to prevent breakages and damage.
- Use the correct cleaning chemicals for different surfaces and equipment, handling them safely and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines while carrying out cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen in a similar position.
- Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices, including proper operating equipment storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Physical stamina for the role.
- Teamwork skills.
