Are you a detail-driven Financial Accountant who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys being close to the numbers? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation where your expertise will directly support sound financial decision-making, compliance, and operational excellence. Youll play a key role in managing end-to-end accounting functions, statutory compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, while working closely with management and external partners. What Youll Bring Bachelors degree (or higher) in Accounting or a related field SAIPA registration (essential) Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role Strong experience working with ERP systems Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax, and statutory compliance Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Your Key Responsibilities Financial & Management Accounting Full day-to-day accounting operations Preparation and review of journals and account reconciliations Monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Weekly cashflow planning and reporting Budgets vs actuals (monthly & annual) Compliance, Tax & Statutory VAT, Income Tax, Provisional Tax, Payroll reconciliations Preparation and submission of all SARS and statutory returns Attendance and support during SARS audits and reviews CIPC annual returns and Stats SA reporting Tax planning support Audit, Controls & Governance Compile audit files and liaise with auditors/reviewers Implement, monitor, and review internal accounting controls Review accounting transactions processed by the credit controller Stakeholder & Operational Support Liaison with banks (guarantees & operational requirements) Liaison with insurers regarding company assets Preparation and review of asset sale and purchase agreements Foreign payment processing and local payment reviews Assistance with tender documentation and general operational reporting Group & Multi-Company Exposure Monthly group reporting (loan accounts, investments, assessed losses) Review of group company financials prior to audit/review Support with group tax planning Advantageous Experience Manufacturing industry exposure Immediate availability Whats On Offer Permanent position Market-related remuneration , based on experience and qualifications Opportunity to work in a structured yet fast-moving environment Broad exposure across finance, tax, audit, and operations
