Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a talented and experienced E-Commerce Demand Planner to join our client. As an E-Commerce Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing customer demand, driving accurate forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels for our e-commerce platform based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer demand patterns and historical sales data to develop accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, including Marketing, Sales, and Logistics.
Monitor key performance indicators such as customer orders, inventory levels, and product availability.
Optimize inventory levels to reduce out-of-stock situations and minimize excess inventory.
Identify and address any supply chain risks or constraints that may impact demand fulfillment.
Continuously review and adjust demand forecasts based on market trends, promotions, and product launches.
Communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an E-Commerce Demand Planner or similar role
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain or related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in demand planning software and e-commerce platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices.
Experience with forecasting and inventory management in an e-commerce environment is preferred.\
