Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in e-learning or education to join their dynamic team in Durban, KZN. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, implementing IT tools and methodologies, and possess technical proficiencies relevant to managing IT Projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks that may arise
Utilize IT tools and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum to effectively manage project development
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or feedback as needed
Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project success and determine areas for improvement for future projects

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management
Background in e-learning or education preferred
Proficiency in IT tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
Strong technical skills with a good understanding of IT systems and software development
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
