Responsibilities

Manage the toolroom budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and operational efficiency
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
Provide technical leadership to the toolmaking team, mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement
Present financial reports, project updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tooling operations with broader business strategies and goals

Requirements

Certified Toolmaker with 7+ years of relevant experience
A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is highly valuable
Expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, and plastic injection molding
Proficient in CNC programming and CAD software (SolidWorks, Edgecam, Mastercam)
Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and KPI management
Ability to deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders, with a focus on financial and operational metrics
Strategic thinking and process improvement capabilities
Experience with mold manufacturing, repair, and maintenance, including hot runner systems
