About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Warehouse Manager for a prominent company in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN). This strategic role involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring processes run smoothly, and managing a dedicated team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prioritize safety across all areas
- Monitor and manage warehouse transport risks
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, roadworthy, and properly signed
- Oversee warehouses, raw material, and finished product stock on both sites
- Manage stock cycle counts and quarterly audited stock takes
- Ensure standardization of systems and procedures
- Oversee stock returns and adherence to POD and COD invoice processes
- Ensure adherence to ISO9000 and ISO14001 policies and procedures
- Control costs and highlight variances
- Maintain monthly forecasting of warehouse costs and transport usage
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse and transport operations
- Participate in the cross-functional transport committee
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
- 5+ years in supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
