About the Role

Step into a rewarding role as an Electrician with a respected manufacturing team in the Western Cape! You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by implementing preventative maintenance programs, maintaining the 11kV distribution network, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards. Your expertise in VFDs, SS starters, and PLC systems will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical equipment
• Maintain the 11kV distribution network to ensure high reliability
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations
• Manage tools and equipment to optimize productivity and efficiency
• Coordinate critical parts and monitor productivity and quality

Requirements

• Minimum N3 Electrical Certificate
• Electrical Trade Test as an Electrician
• ORHVS certification
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of the OHS Act and SANS 101-42
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work overtime and standby duties

Qualifications

• Completed N3 Electrical Certificate
• Electrical Trade Test as an Electrician
