About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Loss Prevention Supervisor to lead our team in Ottery, Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for managing daily site security, leading incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Daily supervision, timesheets, performance management, and training of security staff.
- Operations: Oversee access control, vehicle/invoice checks, and stock loss prevention.
- Incident Response: Lead investigations and report to the National Security Manager.
- Site Oversight: Manage security presence at Ottery Branch, Manufacturing, and 105 Bamboesvlei.
- Compliance: Daily building/alarm checks and ensuring strict adherence to procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: 6 years in the security industry, with at least 23 years in a supervisory role.
- Certification: PSIRA Grade B (Minimum) | Grade A (Preferred).
- Education: Grade 12 & Computer Literate (MS Office/Outlook).
- Industry: Background in warehousing, boards, or transport (desirable).
- Strong leadership, incident investigation, and English proficiency.
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12.
- PSIRA Certification (Grade B or A).
