About the Role
The Practitioner Support Executive (Admitted Attorney) role is a critical position that requires an experienced legal professional to provide strategic support to law firms in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practice, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess all claims to identify underlying causes of errors or omissions
- Identify legal practices requiring risk management training and provide relevant training
- Make risk management suggestions to mitigate recurrence of identified issues
- Provide support for legal practices requiring training
- Facilitate solutions for each specific practice
- Support practices as and when required
- Prepare risk management materials addressing specific areas of concern
- Liaise with firms regarding their obligations in terms of Executor Bond and Master Policies
- Participate in management functions of the company
- Manage budget of practitioner support area
- Draft reports on activities carried out for management team and governance structures
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- LLB degree
- Admitted Attorney status
- No disciplinary action or sanctions pending
- Minimum 10 years experience in legal practice at a senior level
- Proven management responsibilities
- Ability to operate at an executive level
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
