Minimum Requirements Qualified Painter with a recognised Trade Test Certificate Minimum 35 years post-trade experience as a Painter Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting (specify if required) Ability to work at heights and in various environments Good understanding of health and safety practices Physically fit and able to meet job demands High attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work under pressure Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming Apply paint, varnish, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret job instructions, drawings, or specifications Mix and match paints to the required colours and finishes Repair damaged surfaces such as cracks, peeling paint, or plaster defects Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition Comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations at all times Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
