Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role oversees quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold customer satisfaction across the manufacturing and distribution processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Oversee product testing, quality inspections, and process control throughout production and packaging stages.

Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).

Monitor supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Manage non-conformance reports, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure effective traceability systems and documentation are maintained for all raw materials and finished goods.

Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvement and product consistency.

Train and mentor QA staff to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Stay updated on legislation, customer requirements, and industry trends impacting quality and compliance.

Report on key quality metrics to senior management and recommend improvement strategies.
