Responsible for managing, supporting, and deploying desktop applications across the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role includes building software packages, managing application distribution through SCCM and MECM, and ensuring efficient delta management.

Key deliverables: 
SCCM/MECM Package Creation and Management:

• Develop, test, and deploy application packages in SCCM/MECM.
• Manage application lifecycle, including updates, upgrades, and retirements.
• Configure deployment settings and ensure that packages are distributed efficiently across the enterprise.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues to ensure successful installations.
• Automate repetitive tasks related to software deployment using scripts and SCCM/MECM capabilities.

Application Distribution and Delta Management:

• Oversee the distribution of software packages to various endpoints.
• Implement and manage delta deployment strategies to ensure only necessary updates are pushed, minimizing network load.
• Monitor distribution logs and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the distribution process. 

End-User Support and Training:

• Provide second and third-level support for desktop application issues, including advanced troubleshooting.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SCCM, MECM, Intune, and related technologies.
• Identify opportunities for improving desktop application management processes and tools

Qualifications and Exp:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s is a plus).
• Advanced certifications preferred:
• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Expert
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• 5+ years of experience in desktop application deployment and support.
• Led end-to-end deployment projects and system-wide upgrades.
• Expert-level proficiency with SCCM/MECM, including advanced packaging and deployment automation.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and ability to create custom tools and dashboards.
• Strong experience with delta management and optimizing software distribution strategies.
• Deep understanding of application dependencies, compatibility, and enterprise environments.
• Strong mentoring, documentation, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
