About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek, Cape Winelands. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including food and beverage management, rooms division, and logistics. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full operations, service, logistics, and activities of the Hotel Team under the guidance of the General Manager
- Provide superior food and wine service knowledge
- Oversee rooms division management
- Develop and implement effective strategies for improving guest satisfaction and hotel performance
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including staff supervision and training
Requirements
- Matric Hospitality Management Qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Hotel or Lodge manager in a luxury boutique property
- Strong on f&b management with exposure to rooms division management
- Superior food and wine service knowledge
- Drivers licence
- Own car
- Resident in the Cape Peninsula and Winelands area
