About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team in Middelburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general office administration and ensuring smooth daily operations, while providing administrative support to operations and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general office administration and ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate onboarding documentation and personnel files
- Assist with verification processes (criminal checks, qualification verification, driver checks)
- Schedule medicals, inductions, and compliance training
- Capture and maintain HR data, reports, and workforce records
- Support payroll administration inputs and timesheet coordination
- Assist with recruitment administration (posting ads, scheduling interviews, candidate communication)
- Ensure all documentation aligns with labour and compliance requirements
Requirements
- 35 years solid experience in office administration (logistics, transport, or industrial sector advantageous)
- Strong document management and compliance administration experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Qualifications
- Valid drivers licence (advantageous)
